On the evening of October 31, something quite different will take place at the estate…

This is not an ordinary dinner.
There will be no jack-o’-lanterns, fake blood or traditional Halloween menu.

Instead, expect ingredients you may have never encountered on your plate before.

A special multi-course Halloween dinner where we deliberately push the boundaries. And if that’s not enough, let us just say this: wine lovers may get goosebumps too.

A limited number of guest rooms at the castle are available for those who would like to stay overnight after the dinner and enjoy the peaceful morning atmosphere of our castle and gardens.

Wine Tasting Experiences at Scharioth Estate





Dear Wine Lovers!

Spend a few wonderful hours with us in a truly special setting.

Join us for our “White Mátra Wunder” Wine Tasting, a regular experience at Scharioth Estate.

From 1 June 2026
every Friday and Saturday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

A tasting of 5highly acclaimed wines from the Mátra Wine Region
Homemade bread and premium Tuscan olive oil
A guided walk through the Scharioth Estate
The complete tasting experience lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

Group size: minimum 4, maximum 15 guests
Price: HUF 12,000 / person

Each tasting wine is served in a 1 dl portion.

The wines featured in the tasting are also available for purchase on site.
For purchases of more than one case of wine, we offer a 10% discount per bottle.
